Privacy Policy

Plant Doctor AI ("the app") helps you identify plants and diagnose plant health problems from photos. We designed it to collect as little data as possible.

What we process

• Plant photos. When you take or select a photo, it is sent securely to Google's Gemini AI service (via Firebase AI Logic) to identify the plant and analyze its health. Photos are processed to generate the result and are not used to build a profile of you.
• Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat. We receive an anonymous identifier and subscription status — never your name, Apple ID, or payment details.
• Crash and diagnostic data. Standard, anonymized diagnostics may be collected by Firebase to keep the app stable.

What we do NOT do

• We do not require an account and do not collect your name, email, or contacts.
• We do not sell your data to anyone.
• We do not show third-party ads.
• We do not access your photo library beyond the photos you explicitly choose.

Data retention

Photos are processed transiently for analysis. Subscription status is retained while your subscription is active, as required to provide the service.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
